Be a GoodSeed Nursery “Specialist”

Our Plant Specialists, Landscape Material Specialists and Delivery/Installation Specialists enjoy working with plants and with people who enjoy plants. Our close-knit team is all about being supportive of each other and our customers. We meet all kinds of diverse and interesting people throughout the season, and enjoy helping them make their dreams come true. Our garden center team members collaborate on making customers feel welcome, taking care of plants, receiving orders, loading purchases, and arranging deliveries. We also work together in keeping our facilities neat, clean, and attractive. All members of our team enjoy working outdoors every day.

The garden center industry requires working many weekends and holidays, however we offer lots of flexibility in our weekly scheduling. You’ll need to learn lots of product knowledge quickly, as we prepare for the spring rush. We’ll help you learn simple math and geometry so you can help customers with basic land- scape questions, like how much mulch and other materials they’ll need. Our garden center is open-air, so you will be exposed to dirt, water, wind and weather. You’ll need to learn how to accommodate the diverse watering and sunlight needs of our many plants. Lifting will be required at times. The spring season is fast-paced; during the summer and fall you can relax more both on and off the job.
